90% Invisible Warning Signs: This is the phase of "not recognizing." Our app helps you document creeping changes in hoof geometry before they turn into a problem.

About Hufrehe Alarm
The Hufrehe Alarm App is a digital system for the structured observation and documentation of hoof-related changes.
The application enables the regular recording of external hoof characteristics as well as traceable progress monitoring. Additionally, system-related guidance on application and documentation is provided. The app supports an objective classification of everyday observations.
Why Documentation Makes the Difference
Hooves change every day – due to ground conditions, lack of exercise, or the hoof trimming itself. These processes often happen so gradually that they are overlooked in daily life.
The Hufrehe Alarm App closes this gap. It is your digital tool to stop leaving changes to chance and start recording them objectively. This creates a solid foundation for collaboration with your farrier or veterinarian.

For Horse Owners, Farriers, and Vets
- Horse Owners: For conscious daily checks.
- Professionals: For structured, traceable documentation for clients.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The app is a free monitoring tool. It is intended for documentation and early detection – it does not replace veterinary diagnosis or therapeutic decisions.
While metabolism and nutrition are the foundation, mechanical overload is often the decisive trigger. The app helps you keep an eye on exactly this mechanical factor.

Project Description
Hufrehe Alarm App
The Hufrehe Alarm App is a digital observation and documentation tool for horse owners, farriers, and veterinarians. It helps to systematically record changes to the hoof capsule and make abnormalities related to mechanical stress visible.
By evaluating defined external reference points of the hoof capsule, the app enables a structured documentation of the suspected position of the pedal bone within the hoof capsule – without the use of imaging techniques such as X-rays.
Through the analysis of uploaded hoof images, changes to the hoof capsule that could indicate mechanical overload can be transparently documented and compared over time. The app supports regular hoof observation and facilitates the structured evaluation of documented abnormalities.
Additionally, the app provides professionally grounded information on hoof care and the planning of maintenance steps. It is aimed at both horse owners who wish to consciously observe their horses' hooves in daily life and professionals who want to systematically record and traceably document their observations.
The goal of the Hufrehe Alarm App is to provide a free digital quick-check instrument for hoof observation. The app expressly does not serve for making diagnoses or therapy decisions, but rather as a supporting tool for structured observation and documentation.
