This Privacy Policy applies to the Hufrehe-Alarm App.

2. Operation of the App
When you use the app, we process certain data that is automatically transmitted to us to provide app functionality, ensure ongoing development, and prevent or resolve malfunctions. This includes:
- Device ID, operating system, time of access, and IP address.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring system security, investigating misuse, and restoring system integrity after technical failures. Logfile data is deleted after a maximum of 14 days, unless required longer due to a security incident.
3. Registration and System Use
When you register or use the app, we process personal data such as your name, address, email, phone number, date of birth, username, payment details, and uploaded user content (specifically hoof photos for AI analysis) required for the fulfillment of our contract with you.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (Performance of Contract). We store this data for as long as necessary to fulfill the contract and/or comply with legal retention periods.
4. Specific App Functions
- AI Analysis: To perform the AI-supported analysis of hoof health, we process the photos you upload. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
- Interactive Map: To display regional partners, the app uses your location if you have granted permission on your device. Legal basis: Your consent according to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
5. Permissions
If granted via your device settings, the app accesses:
- Camera & Photos: For uploading hoof photos for analysis.
- Location: For displaying partners on the interactive map. You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
6. Data Transfer to Third Parties
We share data with the following service providers:
- Hosting: Contabo GmbH, Welfenstraße 22, 81541 Munich, Germany.
- App Agency (Maintenance): DeineSeite.at, Fahndorf 30, A-3710 Ziersdorf, Austria. Currently, no data is transferred to third countries outside the EU.
7. Your Rights (Data Subject Rights)
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You also have the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
